| TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION:
Actually reel to reel home videotape recorders had been available since 1965. Some other archane formats showed up in the early 1970s.
By late 1975, the first Sony Betamax machines were available. VHS came along a year or so later.
In the 1970s, I worked in video production and had access to equipment there.
My tape was recorded off-air on a 3/4" U-Matic videocassette. |
